The Scenarios page user interface consists of different scenario cards that the user can create and use to optimize their supply chain.
The central area of the page contains all the scenario cards that have been created by the user and includes a Design New Scenario card which will let you create a new scenario.
The top of the page includes different utilities used to search, sort, filter, compare and perform bulk actions on multiple scenarios.
The search scenarios bar allows the user to search for all or part of a scenario name and display only those cards.
The Filter By Tags drop-down menu displays all the tags created for any of the scenarios. Using these tags creates a convenient way to categorize scenarios by title and color for enhanced organization.
The sort drop-down menu allows the user to sort the scenario cards in ascending or descending order by name, by date of last update, and by number of actions.
The Filter By Stages drop-down menu allows the user to filter cards by the different stages of execution. These stages include:
New: for scenarios that have not been run at all
Validate: for scenarios that have reached validation
Solve: for scenarios that have run a solve
Report: for scenarios that have been fully executed
The Filter By Base Scenario drop-down menu allows the user to display all scenarios that contain a specific Base Scenario.
The date filter will display all scenarios that have been updated within the time frame selected.
The Show Favorites checkbox will display all scenarios which have been identified as favorites by the gold star on the top right of a scenario card.
The Show Hidden text box will display any cards that have been hidden.
The circular icons and the Execute button are used for bulk actions performed on multiple scenarios. To use these functions, select at least two scenarios. To do this, check marks must be toggled on the top right of the scenario card for two or more scenarios.
These scenario activities include:
Bulk Reset Scenarios – Reset from current stage to New.
Bulk Duplicate Scenarios – Duplicate all selected scenarios. The duplicate scenarios will end in “- Copy”
Bulk Delete Scenarios – Delete all selected scenarios. Output of these scenarios will still be accessible in the database.
Bulk Hide Scenarios – Hide all selected scenarios.
Compare – Compare actions defining each selected scenario.
Execute – Run the next stage on all selected cards. For example, if one scenario has completed validate and another has completed solve. Bulk Execute will solve the first scenario and report the second scenario.
Execute All – Reset all selected scenarios and run all stages of all selected scenarios in parallel.
