Center of Gravity
This solver requires the Customers table to be supplied with Latitude and Longitude coordinates to determine where new distribution center(s) should be placed. If there are existing distribution centers, then the Sites table must also be supplied with Lat/Long coordinates to give a more accurate answer on the location of new distribution centers.
Network Optimization
Latitude and Longitude coordinates are essential for performing accurate Distance Calculations within the solver.
For Intersite Lanes, ensure that multiple Site records have Lat/Long coordinates populated.
For Customer Lanes, both Site and Customer records must contain Lat/Long coordinates to support accurate distance measurements.
